You start with a space station, a few ships, and limited resources, then expand by gathering materials, claiming moons, acquiring modules, and advancing on five progress tracks: Science, Industry, Commerce, Civilization, and Supremacy. Your ships are upgradable workers with unique abilities, and the modular hex map changes each game.

Highlights

Upgradable Ship Workers: Each starship has different special abilities and can be improved throughout the game

Modular Hex Map: The game board reconfigures for variable setup and replayability

Five Progress Tracks: Compete to advance in Science, Industry, Commerce, Civilization, and Supremacy for mid-game rewards and end-game scoring

Faction-Based Strategy: Lead a desperate civilization with asymmetric starting positions and goals

Game details

Publisher: Lucky Duck Games

Players: 2-4

Ages: 14+

Questions

Is this a standalone game?
Yes, Andromeda's Edge is a complete base game with everything needed to play.

How does the worker placement mechanic work?
Your workers are starships that you place on the modular hex map to perform actions.
