Manga Booster 02 [SB02] is the second special booster set in the Fusion World series, released to celebrate Dragon Ball's 40th anniversary. Every card in the set is illustrated with original manga artwork by Akira Toriyama and printed as Silver Foil or higher — there are no plain, non-foil cards anywhere in this release. The set introduces three brand-new Leader cards — Trunks: Future, Gotenks, and Son Goku — alongside two returning Leaders, Frieza and Dragon Ball/Shenron, both reprinted with new manga art. All five Leaders receive their own Alt-Art versions.
The chase is anchored by two Secret Rares: a Super Alt-Art of Son Gohan: Childhood, calling back to the iconic father-son Kamehameha scene, and an Alt-Art of Son Goku: Childhood. Rounding things out is the Manga Booster-exclusive Ultra Alt-Art rarity — a shiny finish found only in these special booster sets, first introduced in SB01.
