Black Site Studios The Chase Zine
A collaborative tornado-chasing game in compact zine form.
The Chase Zine is a physical BSS Zine from Black Site Studios built around non-combat storm chasing. Designed for one or more players, it puts your crew in pursuit of scientific data through extreme weather while keeping the ruleset approachable, experimental, and easy to bring to the table with your own miniatures and terrain.
What's inside: 1 physical copy of The Chase Zine. To play, you will also need some D10 dice in red, white, and blue, 4 chaser miniatures, a 3 foot by 3 foot play area with terrain, and a tornado on a 5-inch base.
Product highlights
- Non-combat concept: The Chase focuses on tornado hunting rather than head-to-head combat, giving miniatures players a different kind of scenario to set up and explore.
- Collaborative play: Black Site Studios describes it as a collaborative miniatures game for one or more players, making it an easy fit for casual sessions or cooperative game nights.
- BSS Zine format: This title is part of the publisher's experimental zine line, printed on recycled staple-bound paper and built around a lighter, more casual rules experience.
- Bring your own table: The game uses your own dice, miniatures, terrain, and tornado marker, so hobbyists can tailor the presentation to the collection they already have.
