Product highlights
- Updated with Warpaints Fanatic: This newer version replaces the older paint line with Warpaints Fanatic acrylics, formulated for strong coverage, smooth thinning, and dense pigmentation.
- Monster-focused palette: The included mix of colours, Effects, Metallics, and Wash is selected around the Wandering Monsters theme, making it useful for trolls, dungeon creatures, and grim fantasy encounters.
- Beginner-friendly miniature build: The included troll is a snap-fit hard-plastic miniature, so glue is not required for assembly. Cut the parts from the sprue, fit them together, and start painting.
- More than just paint: A Basecoat Brush and printed guide are packed in, giving newer painters a more complete first project instead of just a row of bottles.
- Made for RPG hobby tables: The GameMaster range is aimed at role-playing miniatures and terrain, so this set fits naturally into fantasy campaign prep, painting nights, and first-time miniature projects.

Product questions
What exactly is included in this set?
You get 15 x 18ml Warpaints Fanatic paints, split into 10 acrylic colours, 2 Effects, 2 Metallics, and 1 Wash, plus a GameMaster Basecoat Brush, a painting guide, The Army Painter intro booklet, and a snap-fit troll miniature.
Does the miniature need glue to assemble?
No. The included troll is described by The Army Painter as a hard-plastic snap-fit miniature, so glue is not required for assembly. You do still need to cut the parts from the sprue before snapping them together.
Is this the updated Fanatic version?
Yes. This is the updated GameMaster Wandering Monsters set that now includes Warpaints Fanatic paints instead of the older Warpaints formulation.
If you want a themed starter for painting fantasy monsters without piecing together supplies one by one, this GameMaster set is a clean way to get brush, paints, and a first miniature in one box.
