Why Ward players chase Boss Battles
- Co-op or solo format: Boss Battles are built as raid-style encounters where players can team up against the boss, and the official rules also support solo play.
- Fixed deck contents: Virinox Prime is a pre-built boss product, so you know the deck includes the boss card, info card, and a full suite of Boss Magic cards rather than random pack contents.
- Unique boss identity: Ward describes Virinox Prime as a cold, calculating mechanical threat with its own attack pattern and playstyle inside the larger Boss Battles system.
- Different from a normal match: In Boss Battles, the boss uses its own challenge deck and fights back every turn, creating a different experience from standard player-versus-player Ward games.
